John Lauer is an entrepreneur and telecommunications industry veteran, and the CEO and co-founder of Zipwhip. He forms the company’s key strategies and initiatives and oversees executive operations. Zipwhip came from humble beginnings in the basement of Lauer’s own home, and has since grown to 200 employees, over 30,000 customers and a $20m run-rate, which few startups achieve.
